• The HSE generally only covers Medical Card Holders for an eye exam every 2 years. However may card holders’ are over 70 and would benefit from a more frequent eye exam  as the risk of developing eye conditions such as Cataracts & Macular Degeneration increases with age.
• For Euro 4.50/Month Medical Card patients can attend for 6 monthly eye exams and avail of the latest eye health technology in the practice
• In addition you can still claim and allowances for testing or spectacles as approved by the Local Health Authority.
